From I young age I always have keen interest in sport and competed in football, rugby and swimming. When deciding what to do as a career, opportunities to work within the fitness industry were limited growing up in a small town, and I decided to go to university to study civil engineering instead.
After university I spent 21 years working in the civil engineering sector, predominantly sat behind the desk. Over that period I still aspired to be involved in the fitness industry and got some relief through playing rugby and trial running. The start of the global pandemic in 2019 was the catalyst for me to reassess my priorities in life and decided to retrain as a coach.
I am now a Level 3 qualified Personal Trainer and G2G Coach, proving its never too late to follow your dreams.
I have a collaborative coaching style, where I work in partnerhsip with individuals, through verbal communication and physical demonstrations . I encourage the individual to ultimately take responsibility for their own progress, while I provide the tools and platform for them to confidently achieve their goals.
